A lot of the designs (on our CD catalog) can be incorporated into pedestals as well as pots, we’ve just decided to make these look like bench legs. Create your own bench leg and feel welcome to send it to us. Using a motif from the bas-relief or medallions in our line art sections, find or create something of your own and submit it. Remember that we do essentially custom work for our clients with a ten to twelve week waiting period for delivery.

*Please remember with all of our benches made of sandstone there is no mica in our sandstone unlike the popular and much used Arizona sandstone.  So though our landscape ornamentation blends extremely well with Arizona Flagstone, it does not pit or crack like the Arizona Flagstone.  This is because Rajastan and Andre Pradesh Sandstone does not contain mica as a sedimentary ingredient. It is mica that creates a pitting or structural weakness in Arizona Flagstone.  It is beautiful as a paving material, but with the pitting effect it would not be desirable in benches, fence lines, columns or any other ornamental item that we would import. Our sandstone blends extraordinarily well in color and texture with American Sandstone. This is one of the main reasons why we’ve pursued this line of logic so that the American garden can have a complete theme of gorgeous sandstone artifacts and avoid the quite horrible looking cement alternatives.Carved stone is not the fake (faux) material all the synthetic molded lookalikes strive for. So many wealthy patrons in America surround themselves with molded pots and articles such as cement, plaster and fiberglass. To our wealthy European cousins this shows a great lack of cultural depth as they understand only natural materials can beautify and integrate into natural surroundings. Stone gets better with age.
